Ten Reasons to Use a Travel Agent for Destination Weddings/Honeymoons

10. We are here for your guests.
The excitement and special nature of a destination wedding often inspires people to travel who don't usually travel - we will answer any questions for your guests, easing their minds about the travel ahead. We will happily check various airports, dates, and room categories for them, so your guests also have a great experience while celebrating your wedding with you.

9. Two words: FAM trips.
Travel agents are often invited on "FAM trips" (familiarization trips) to introduce us to the resorts:  staff, wedding coordinators, rooms, and amenities. Some of these FAM trips are destination wedding themed, meaning we devote all of our time on site to learning about what is available to our brides and grooms - venues, decorative touches, meals, and more. These experiences help us best serve the couple with whom we work!

8. Legal versus symbolic ceremonies
Each destination is very specific in its requirements for conducting a legal wedding ceremony, and we are here to make sure all steps are clear to our brides and grooms and that each is made in a timely fashion. Symbolic ceremonies are much simpler to organize, but resorts still have their own requirements for brides and grooms that go this route too. We will guide you through the paperwork and process for beginning to plan both ceremony types with your destination and wedding coordinator.

7. Payment plan? We can do that!
A deposit is required to secure your reservation and a payment-in-full is required to finalize the reservation, but if you'd like to set up a formal (or informal) payment plan we will gladly accommodate.

6. Work with a person who cares, and not just a booking engine.
Come into the office to meet with us. We love working with our brides and grooms and enjoy coordinating these important events for your lasting memories. We also know that for something as important as a wedding, you don't want to leave it to just a search engine.

5. Unforeseen circumstances - we will deal with them.
We all know that problems can arise when it comes to travel, and these issues should not cause stress for the bride and groom. We are here to address situations and handle them calmly and professionally.

4. Dealing with group travel plans is not how a bride should spend her time.
It is one thing to select a gown, sample cakes, and carefully design the wording on your invitations. It is a whole other thing to collect payments from family members, send out reminders about money, and help dozens of loved ones with air travel. We routinely work with groups of all varieties and are quite accustomed to the steps for a smooth planning period. It's our JOB and we will make sure all is taken care of for you.

3. We do the research for you.
Travel research can be tedious, particularly if you're planning a destination wedding, reception, and honeymoon. Let us do the work for you so you can focus on the fun details. We explore options within your budget, obtain rates, check availability of wedding dates, etc. so you can plan for the fun.

2. We answer all of your questions for you.
Just call us or send them through email - we will promptly respond and assist with whatever you need throughout the planning period. We do the research so you can spend your time elsewhere.

1. No added cost for you!
Assisting with destination wedding and honeymoon planning is what we do, and there are no fees for working with us to make your arrangements happen. Enjoy personalized service, thoughtful attention, care, and concern when working with our team.
